I think there will be more than enough tax dollars saved just from not incarcerating anymore as well as tax dollars from sales, that we would be able to afford rehab programs that actually work and still have billions left over. If you're going to have this attitude, then let's stop treating diabetics too, since they are sugar junkies, let's stop treating all obesity-related illness, let's stop treating lung cancer, let's stop treating alcoholism. Do you think this "bad boy, I don't approve of your drug of choice so you're being punished" attitude would improve the country? I don't.
