Since I have been wondering what the deal is with Genetically Mondified foods this youtube movie on the subject has answered for me a lot of questions about why people oppose it. Obviously one movie is not going to give all the answers, but this one is a start:

"Seeds of Death" this one posted by Gary Null. An eye-opener for me.

Have you seen this or will you now be watching it? What do you think? Will this change anyone's mind?

Agreed. Although I would characterize those concepts as indiscriminate profit and corporate greed!

Wow. Head in the sand syndrome here. This activity by Monsanto is so ugly I would think at least a few more people would be worried about it...

Monsanto GMO is a very small part of GMO research and development.

I have a question myself;

1) Without GMO drought-resistant seed how would you suggest people grow crops in drought-prone areas?

2) Without GMO insect-resistant crops, what pesticides would you recommend are used to reduce exposure to toxic chemicals?

Bear in mind I'm not talking about small organic farms in Maine and Oregon, I'm talking about feeding billions of people in Africa and Asia.

Thanks.

It is. And I'll add, most people; even those who think of themselves as "green friendly" or "environmentally conscious" are also kidding themselves when they do not address the problem of mass produced meat and it's environmental impact.
