I always used to look at the United States as being the greatest country in the world and I was fascinated about the culture and people that live there, how lucky they are and how people used to live the American Dream but now i've heard that this country is not what it once was anymore. Mass illegal immigration from the Latinos, Asians, the drug cartels, refusing to learn english or the American culture and corrupt politicians destroyed the country and the so called American Dream.

Not all Latinos are involved in drug cartels, just like how not all Italian immigrants were in the mafia, not all Irish immigrant were drunks, and not all Jewish immigrants were thieves.

Mass illegal immigration is nothing new. My family came over from somewhere in Eastern Europe about a 100 years ago, I don't know for sure because there are no records of them passing through Ellis Island or elsewhere...hummmm I wonder why?

Refusing to learn English Moderator cut: . Funny, I haven't met a single Latino who refuses to learn English, and I've lived the majority of my life in Tucson and Chicaago. Albeit some don't speak the language well, they all want to improve. Yet, there were immigrant communities in Wisconsin that spoke only German from the mid-1800s until WWII (the politics at the time put a the kapuze on that). To this day there are still Amish communities in Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Ohio that only speak German.

So, no, the United States hasn't changed much. There are now, always have been, and always will be ignorant a-holes who use lies and stereotypes to claim that immigrants are destroying the fabric of what makes this country great. Moderator cut: .
