And viewers of these films come to believe that these women enjoy these acts, leading men into believing that this is the way all women like to be treated"?

If YOU find it objectionable, fine, but don't make it out like any man/woman that gets involved or watches it is going to turn out badly. How do you feel about women that watch porn, not for/with their man but just on their own? Are they dehumanizing themselves? Give me a freakin' break!
I am sure that some high paid porn "actresses" have say so what they want to do, and probably have their favorite partners. BUT, there are many porn movies made with foreign girls, especially those from Eastern Europe and I have serious doubts they actually know and understand what they are expected to do. We all know about the "sex trafficking" and the ways how they are forced to earn money, to "pay" for their travel and accommodation, their have their passports taken away and many are slaves, locked in the rooms and are not allowed to make phone calls or go out. Some are able to finally escape, and they they tell their part of the story.
Also, here you can read statements made by former porno stars, because I don't think you really know what's going on. And how would you? Seems to me that you are one of the (many) people who just don't want to acknowledge the dirty site of this business.
The porn industry is dark, evil, and incredibly violent—and it has been that way for a very long time.

Ive noticed almost everyone who is against porn makes it seem like women are little innocent flowers who couldn't have possibly made the decision on their own to do porn and were "forced" or "raped" into it

Grow up men...the 50s are over and some women are choosing to do porn to pay the bills because lets face it...getting f***ed by tall hunk is better than getting f***ed by a crappy job

Well, first of all, porn has been around since long before the 50s.

More importantly, WHERE is this porn with tall, good-looking, well-built men? The porn guys I've seen do NOT fit this description by any stretch of the imagination. They tend to be repulsive. If there were more great-looking men in porn (I'm not into porn, but I do very much appreciate erotica), there'd be more women watching. Guaranteed.

Well, that was the golden age, wasn't it? With men like Jerry Butler, Mike Horner, the late Jon Dough just to name some.

As far as now....iffy. I think we don't see the faces of the good ones and perhaps it may be a function of the flick where the man is suppose to be repulsive.....such as the hedgehog in his later years.

Finally, it is interesting how men change in films. Take Udo Kier. He was such a pretty boy in "The Story of O".........

...........hard to believe this what he became (sweet, in an exotic sort of way).

There is way more porn around now than once ago. Many different niches and price classes and there is the amateur stuff as well. There still are plenty of male performers that have above average good looks and bodies. There weren't a lot of women watching porn even when it was ONLY tall, good looking, hunky guys on camera. Why do you think that would change now?

Shouldn't be regulated anymore than it is. The more "taboo" you make it seem the more people feel like they just have to have it.

I was reading a blog written by a woman who is a gynecologist. She said she can never enjoy watching porn because she's too busy thinking about the STDs they're contracting.

She said the industry claims the performers are tested often and they have fewer STDs than the general population, but it's not true. She explained how their testing protocol is not adequate. Besides, you can test negative and be positive if recently infected. She said it's too bad they can't use condoms and photo shop them out. Even though condoms aren't 100% effective, it's better than the nothing they use now.

And she's right about the STDs in the porn industry.

Is it immoral...yeah probably. Would I ever date them...hell no...but I can assure you the vast majority of women who go into porn are pretty aware of what they are doing and their choices and consequences

Does it bother you when you buy clothes knitted in Hondouras by children working for 5 cents an hour?

Does it bother you when you ear beef raised by abused cattle loaded up with steroids?

Does it bother you when you eat that your fruit is picked by Mexicans who work 14 hours a day in the searing heat and are hoarded into living in trailers wit one bathroom?

Spare the faux outrage...the porn industry is a pretty crappy job, I'm not gonna lie but everyone is so hypocritical about it
