Same for carbonated water, though.
Thank you. Someone finally actually read what I wrote!

OP is saying that we need that option TO BUY in the store...
it is all about packing FILTERED/DISTILLED water into cans versus bottles.
I would like to see canned water instead of bottled.

This is a 2-quart Thermos.

Just how much coffee are you going to drink?

From the link. "Although you may think that bottled water is a safer option than tap, two new reports show that the store-bought stuff is actually less regulated than the water you get out of your faucet for free."

Is your bottled water safe? - CNN.com

Yeah, I think I'll go ahead and filter my own water, rather than pay to risk drinking garbage just because it's trendy.
Why even filter the water for??

Some are debating the use of cans to my post. You know, I don't care what it is packaged in. We just need to availability to purchase it. It could be in cartons if that need be. I just always hear the stop offering water thing...I am just saying...if not bottles, lets put it in something more suitable.

The stupid thing is ...go to the grocery. Go down the drink isle, why is water being picked on? I see TONS of bottles (plastic). Lets put all that stuff in packaging that is better served. You aren't just going to STOP selling it all together! Right?

If you have an immune problem (health issues) you MUST NOT drink tap water or spring water. The doctors tell you to look for purified or distilled water and to filter your water. THAT IS WHY IT MUST BE. The water in water bottles that IS NOT PURIFIED or DISTILLED...is NOT OK TO DRINK! Yes, you are ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!

Well, I did read your posts but was still uncertain of what you were indicating.

Is not not possible to take extra plastic bottles of your own filtered water and keep them in a cooler until you need them? The usual type of plastic bottle holds up well when not stored in the sun, etc. That same bottle could be used many times over. AND, in the long run would be less expensive.

Me personally?

I'm not at all fanatical about drinking filtered water. But for those who are really concerned about tap water - or those who are in a place where the tap water isn't very good - I think filtering it is a good idea.
