I'm unsure if this goes here since it is kind of about the Global warming thing.
But in this video it talks about how the world will collapse by the end of the 21st century and how Global warming is apart of that. How true do you think that this video could be?
Typical tree hugger fantasy spreading FUD, thats all it is.....
Well, with the BBC being found to be a political front for climate activists, makes you wonder if the same thing is true of ABC? You only see this fear mongering garbage from activists.

Don't you find it a bit odd that tools like these are used to gain support rather than a hard focus on the scientific analysis? It is because the science isn't as certain as those pushing these opinions and they can't have all the little idiots out there thinking for themselves. Nope, they need to be told what to think. /boggle
97% of climate experts believe that humans are causing global warming. Its not even up for debate, yet we still have people that just can't accept it. Hell the theory of evolution was made evident in the 1800's and we still have a good contingient of deniers. It's not a matter of if, but when drastic changes in climate and the loss of our ability to create energy because of limited oil production will cause widespread chaos. Anybody who says otherwise is willfully ignorant because they are scared or refuse to accept it for political reasons.

A survey of 80 unnamed scientists does not equal 97% of scientist. Go ahead, cite your source and you will quickly see that it was a cooked claim.
Here is some of problems with those you will cite (which we know you won't because you likely don't even know who the authors of the original research are).
Whether you want to believe it or not, why condone and enable human behavior that harms the planet? It doesn't take a scientist to realize that pumping earth's atmosphere with pollutants is bad. We are taking more than we're giving back to this planet. Sooner or later, that will bite us in the ass.
Why is this a political issue? Do you condone destroying this planet? Here's a news flash, humans aren't the only living things on planet earth. Wake the F up.

1. The problem with your position is that it makes the assertion that mans contribution is significant and that C02 is a primary driver of system changes. It does take science to be able to validate this hypothesis. Generalizing and vaguely referring to causation without any form of proper validation is fear mongering ignorance that suggests ulterior motives.
2. Pollutants are bad, but again... science has not properly established that mans contribution is significant and that C02 is a primary driver. Micro pollution does not establish a macro causation.
3. Using anecdotal remedy to establish a position is meaningless and establishing a position based on dogmatic belief through the use of fear is meaningless.
4. This is a political issue because it was brought to the political realm by key scientists and organizations to which could not establish the validity of their position according to scientific process. They claimed they had to win public sway through political means, that science would not allow them to establish the imminent claims of certainty.
5. Try educating yourself on the facts of the science. That way you don't become a tool for political agenda.
