Just saw Bea Johnson in my community today. If you've never heard of her, google her name and Zero Waste Home. It's an excellent resource for learning how to truly live a wonderful green life. I found her book 6 weeks ago and immediately started following some of the recommendations. I'm still not done yet, but I can already tell a huge difference in how much time I have for other things in life because I'm not being weighed down by my junk anymore! It's really, really great. She also has useful information on the forum of her blog. It might be helpful if you are looking for local resources.
