Warren Buffet's insurance company must have cancelled your policy.

You're the master of obfuscation.

You could do almost as much as you wished along the Colorado. Pump it back after it comes through Hoover Dam. And I would suspect there are dozens of places along the Colorado where you could build such facilities. Block off a higher canyon and pump it from and to the Colorado.

Would be mostly a capital expense. But it could be a big bill. Don't think I have ever seen good numbers on it.
According to the article, we'd need an area of (and volume) of water equivalent to one of the Great Lakes to have enough storage. And that volume of water would have to be divided up among thousands of storage facilities to meet power demand (one big facility the size of Lake Erie couldn't pump up or drain down fast enough to meet power demand).

Did you read the article, or at least skip down to the "final result?"

Never had one through them. Don't care to.

But nice try.

It's kind of sad that you cannot admit that you're wrong.

You're frequently in error but never in doubt. Try facts some day. They can be your friend.

That 6 gig of gas and coal will produce 98% of the time and all the solar only @30% maybe........Keep BS'ing your way around the Boards. The truth is that the more renewable that go in the more fossil fuel plants get built. Golden for me

Acceptance and likes - those things you thrive on - are not facts.

Your facts are wrong.
