It really makes us wonder why it is not done here in the US. Instead of waging war, and changing our economy to financial services, this should have been done here in the 70's! A real city will be a working laboratory for new technology. To think, at the rate we are going Mad Max may be a reality in a few decades. Then again, if I need gas I can always use an icepick on a county vehicle LOL! There are plenty to harvest gasoline from!

the big bad evil Jimmy Carter tried to embark on such a thing but Reagan came in and demolished all that. Bottom line is, certain people have to eat and if legislature comes down the pipe that doesn't keep the status quo then that legislature will be dismantled soon or later.
