This argument would be a little less absurd if the participants bothered to study Geology, Climatology and History a bit more thoroughly.

Fortunately we don't require unanimous consent from the entire populace to set a policy about reducing our GHG emissions.

This will be the year that either stops the global warming push or lets it go on being debated. A cool spring or a cool summer and by next fall we'll already be pushing it on to the far back burner with more serious issues taking the forefront.
Obama has to date so far been smart in delaying opinions or policies until the smoke clears and the dust settles, he'll be wise to hold off 6 months on this. Hillary, not so smart.

Did you not hear Obama's speech about doubling the amount of energy we get from renewable energy over the next three years? Did you fail to notice the backgrounds of his energy team? Did you not realize that Obama is a strong supporter of CO2 Cap and Trade?

The weather this spring and summer has nothing to do with climate.

I can sit here and say "it's zero degrees in Kansas City today, and that proves there's global cooling".

I can also sit here and say that " the temperature at the South Pole is warmer today than anywhere in North America", and that proves there is Global Warming.

Neither statement has anything to do with global temperature and hence, neither statement has anything to do with global warming. Therefor, both statements are false, except for the temperatures.
