I am looking at a home in Cameron Village in Winston Salem. I understand it is fairly close to Clemmons. Is this a good area? How is the neighborhood? Can you tell me if it is a family-friendly neighborhood? Are there lots of "cookie cuter" homes or are the homes different in style/design? Thank for any info on this subdivision!
We rented a 2 BR back in 2000, nice gated community. Diverse group of retired folks, young families, single people. Houses are real close together but that is how it is in Forysth County. From what I recall, there were several different floor plans.
Cameron Village isn't gated. Maybe it used to be? At any rate, trese is correct ...it's a typical tract neighborhood with very few trees and yes, the houses are very close together with tiny yards. There is a section with slightly older homes where the yards are a little more established. Houses are nice, though, with lots of variation, and the neighborhood is very safe.
Peppertree homes are a little nicer--bigger, many all-brick, and more expensive I'm sure although I haven't checked prices. The yards are also larger, with lots more trees. Sorry, I'm not familiar with Meadowlands.
