Larger cities do not typically have more crime than smaller ones, on a per capita or per unit of area basis.

Thanks for the information on W-S. I will have to admitt, it has not been easy to obtain information on this particular city. Maybe it is just not that exciting. Do you live in W-S? I was intially looking for a comparison between Raleigh and W-S. On paper W-S seems nicer but lacking in some areas such as shopping, restaurants cultural activities etc. How does the weather compare between the two cities?

Several things were stated in the post that The Man From Utopia responded to, so I'm not sure that he was responding to the statement about crime in particular when he talked about extreme exaggerations.

Default Job information

Jobs are really plentiful in Winston-Salem to be honest. You don't have to know someone to get a job (I didn't know anyone at the job I work at) and most employers are friendly toward new applicants.
