Aren't they developing that land just west of Friendly Center, where they originally wanted to put a Trader Joe's, and the neighborhood fought it, TJ's backed out, and now it may be happening anyway without TJ's?

Yeah. Those houses are gone. I haven't kept up with what's going in.

And the troll returns! Welcome back. Glad your Mom wrote your your password down for you.
Ooh! Good one! You are full of trite zingers, aren't you?
Point is, this thread was dying. It seems that Greensboro has given up on a Trader Joe's. This thread ( and others similar to it) start out with such confidence that Trader Joe's is a done deal when no one posting (myself included) knows at all what they are talking about. And that's not to mention the amateur site locators that feel they know the best place to put one.

Based on what? This thread? This thread is hardly "Greensboro". And its never been a matter of "G'boro" wanting TJ's, its a matter of TJ's wanting G'boro. If TJ's wants to enter the G'boro market, I'm sure a developer will work with them to find a site.
