RN moving from Connecticut to Winston Salem with family (Davidson: neighborhood, elementary schools)

Hi! Moving from Connecticut to Winston Salem. Can someone give me a general idea of the pay scale for RN's. I currently make 37.45/hr with 12 years experience in a local hospital. Do your hospitals compare? Also looking for family-oriented neighborhood with side walks and of course good school system. Any info would be helpful. Thanks so much!

The Wallburg, Friedberg and Friendship Elementary Schools get great ratings. Sidewalks are not typical in NC communities (unlike the north), unless you are in an urban area, so don't be put off by the lack of sidewalks. Your housing costs and property taxes will certainly be lower than in Connecticut.
