Thanks for taking time to read my post.i will be in nc for 3 weeks camping with me and my wife and are 2 girls.i was looking for a firework show on the 4th that we can attend with are kids..we are stay outside winston salem so any area that is 40 min.or less would be great
Thinking about it .it sounds crazy i know..the state we live in now has firework shows but .there is always drinking and language and people acting up..so alotta cops and b.s..we are from nj.but in no way are what people think of nj people..both have family in nc.but mine are all in jacksonvle area ( marines). My wifes are south of the triangke area..we love nc.. but we love the triad area and are familys do not no much of the are.
I was going to suggest Tanglewood Park but due to lack of funding the park is not going to have a show this year. Seems most firework shows in the area are preceeded by a family friendly event. I did read BB&T Park was having a display after the ball game on the 4th, High Point will have the Uncle Sam Jam, and last year Greensboro had a show at the White Oak Ampitheatre while the orchestra played the 1812 Overture.
Go to Shallowford Square in Lewisville! I go with my family - including a LOT of kids - every year. There's good family-friendly folk music before the show, lots of other kids around, and an awesome fireworks display.
