Question for those of you in the Winston Salem area. I have a friend who due to her husband getting a job in Ohio is going to need to sell her house in Winston-Salem. How is the market there? She has been told that houses are on the market average 3 months there. Is that true?
They have a 2-story, 3 BR, 2 1/2 bath on about 1/5 acre about 1400 sf. House was built 5 years ago. Needs new carpeting and some serious landscaping.

Do you think they will have a problem selling?

TIA.

That is about right for the 3 month period, however, a home will sell more quickly depending on the price being right.

and it will depend on where it is. I can refer you to an agent in the area who can give them exactly what the house should sell for and how long it will take.

Just let me know if I can help.

Thanks!

Gosh, wish I was in the market. I just moved FROM Ohio to here, but am in a one year lease on a house I'm renting. Good luck to your friend!
