I will be visiting the Triad area over the next few weeks in anticipation of moving this summer. I'm looking for some townhomes to visit (2BR 2BA 2 floors) to rent for the next 1+ years. I'm a medical professional in my 50's, so I'm looking for a quieter location vs younger college-age residents, but not interested in senior housing. Does anyone have any recommendations? I've been following Craigslist, apt rental guides, etc., but would also like some input from local residents. Any suggestions are appreciated for areas to avoid and areas you may recommend. Thanks much.
I'm in Greensboro, so I don't know. Hopefully others who do will answer. We are currently experiencing a "weather event" so everybody's probably at the grocery store.

Yes, I see that! I truly feel for you all. I can imagine how difficult it is when you're not accustomed to that kind of weather. I feel blessed we are going down there next week and not this week...trying to escape it from up north here, not follow it down there. Best of luck! It's pretty to watch from the inside if you don't have to travel anywhere.
Planning to visit 2 townhomes next week...Highland Oaks in WS and Laurel Bluff in HP.
Oh we're fine. You know all that stuff about us not being able to drive in it? I totally can. I just won't. We want to stay home and have fun. I am no martyr for some job, lol!
Enjoy your trip. Winston is lovely.
