Just drove by Lebaur park and saw where they put in a Spartan Shop in the spot Noma use to be at. I'm not a big fan of this move.. Would much rather have something food related in that spot then a UNCG suviner retail shop ....Wonder why the didn't try to get in another food vendor.

Yeah that seems a little odd. I think Porter House Burgers would have been a good fit. I know their focus is on food truck service but it would have been nice if they replaced Noma.

I noticed this too but I figured it was just a temporary shop for the events that were happening downtown over the weekend. Did it seem like a permanent thing? I only drove by and glanced at it.

The signage looked temporary to me. Nothing against UNCG, but I would hope a better restaurant would take NOMA's place.

I'd love it if they put a second Taco Bao location there.

I think it would be cool to have a company there that gives away $100 bills to anyone who asks.

At second glance it does look temporary to me too..Thank goodness.. to me that spot should not have any trouble to fill with a food place!

Here it is May and I'm surprised that they have not raised the sculpture up above the lawn yet. I doubt we will be getting another freeze.

There was damage to the pulley system when they pulled it down, which caused a little bit of damage to the sculpture itself. They're getting it repaired right now but it should be up by Summer. Last I heard was late Spring-ish.
