I have been posting here on and off since Dec. 2020, when it became clear that we would be moving to Greensboro in July 2021.
1. We have been in Greensboro for two months now, living in an apartment complex near the intersection of Battleground Ave and Horse Pen Creek Road. I find this area very livable.
2. We live in a 3 BDRM apartment, having moved from a 3 BDRM apartment with an attached garage in another state. (That floor plan was rare even for that area.) The rooms were bigger. There was more closets and storage. Our present Greensboro location is fine but we would like a bigger apartment, with all rooms on ground floor. (We cannot do stairs.) Any suggestions?
3. I love Country Park and go for a walk there almost everyday.
4. They are building something on Horse Pen Creek Ave. across the road from Hawthorne at Horse Pen Creek Road. Does anyone know whether this is an apartment complex?
5. Are there places I can go to have air pressure in my car tires checked for free? There are several chains such as Discount Tire Warehouse that do this in Indiana. Edit: I see that Discount Tire stores do this.
6. I am looking for a metal rim, about 10" in diameter and 1/4" thick. This is for pushing with a paddle when I go for walks in the park. [ Don't laugh, second childhood. I used to enjoy doing this when I was 10 years old. This is called hook trundling. It is either this or a unicycle and is definitely cheaper and less dangerous. ]

Hoops are now considered antique toys. Ten inches is too small to be a barrel stave. Perhaps you could find an old tricycle rim. Or, perhaps you could have a metal worker make one from stock metal.
