Yall is also a much used Southern word around here! I'm from New York, and have only picked up on some of the dialogue in the south. One I particularly like is Yourin? Not sure of the spelling yet its another unique word.

When I was at the DMV to get my new driver's license, and I needed an ATM, the clerk told me to go "Catty Corner" - !!! I didn't know what the heck she meant, as was apparent I guess by the look on my face and flapping jaw, so she then said, "diagonally across the street, there is a gas station. I think they have an ATM."

Catty Corner is just more efficient!
