Looking for firewood in Advance (Raleigh: how much, live in, place)

Hi - I have an Uncle who lives in Advance who's main source of heating for the winter is his fireplace insert. I'm looking to help him out by getting him some firewood but I have no idea where to start? We live in the Raleigh area.
I was thinking about getting a load of wood delivered that we could split and stack for him as I think this would be less expensive and he would end up with more? Any idea how much this would cost?
Any info. would be greatly appreciated.
