I'm thinking of moving down to Greensboro area from west Michigan, to look for some concrete work. I was wondering how the residential building market has been, as of late, and if anyone knows of any builders needing concrete help. I have a company with 25 employees, which I think 6-8 guys would go down for 4-6 months to work.

Its terrible. I live in a subdivision in high point with homes ranging from about 1200' to 2500' priced from $140k - $200k. In 2005, 2006, and the start of 2007 the neighborhood was growing incredibly. The builder was selling 4+ houses a month, sometimes as much as 8.

Now the builder has sold 1 or 2 in over a year. Its basically stopped.
