Kernersville might cater more toward new families looking for starter homes. You're either in town, with terrible traffic, strip developments and high-crime apartment complexes, or you're in one of the countless suburban developments with no privacy and too many kids running around. Look at the OP's desired specifications; I don't think Kernersville fits the bill.
I don't worry about being shot or mugged in Kernersville, but I wouldn't park my car on the street or leave my front door unlocked. Look at the crime stats.
Maybe in one of the more distant exurban areas outside of Kernersville?

I dont know what Kville youre speaking of, but there is no traffic terrible traffic, I dont know what you call terrible , having to wait for a red light? This guy has no idea...Kernersville is so nice, within 5 min from greensboro, nice areas.
I now seriously doubt that you even live in Kville. To make such a ridiculous assertion! No traffic? For such a tiny town, the traffic is obscene. Having to wait for a red light isn't a problem. Having to wait at the same red light through 3-4 cycles - THAT is a problem. And then having to do the same at the next 2-5 traffic signals? Severe problem.
But hey - don't take my word for it. Just drive around town on a Saturday.
It's hardly appropriate to compare NYC to a town of fewer than 100,000. A town that small should have absolutely NO traffic congestion.
But that's all beside the point. Kernersville, Lewisville, Clemmons, Burlington - none of these areas meet the OP's desires as described in the initial post.
