Hi Everybody,

This site is great! Lots of good info here. I've tried searching, and I am probably looking for something that doesn't exist, but will try anyway. We have been blessed with a wonderful job opportunity in Greenville and will need to move there in October. We would love to buy a home, but would prefer to rent until we really get to know the area well, find the right church, schools, etc.

Does anyone know of any short-term HOUSES to rent for our family (which includes 2 dogs)?

Furnished would be great, but we can go either way. Our belongings will be put in those "pods" so we can either just store them, or move it to a temporary house. Thank you so much for any info.

Default Still figuring this out

Hi Jason,

We are thinking of the 3-6 month range as enough time to figure and sort things out.

We have lived in the area for over 6 yrs & have sold our house & still are not sure where we are going to move to.....anyway, we have 4 kids & would love to do a short term lease on a house & can not find one. 6 mths is the shortest lease I have seen on a house. There are many apartments that will do 3 mths & Azalea Hills will do month to month I think & they are furnished (small, but reasonable).
If you have kids & they are going to public school, you will have to live in the district for most schools.
If you have any other questions about the area feel free to e-mail me at LoriUsreyFox@yahoo.com.
Greenville is a great area.
Lori
