Trader Joe's Vintage Ale. We get some every year, 4 years running now. I get 6-8 and age some and drink some each year. Currently I have 1 bottle left from 2010, a handful from 2011 and 2012 and then 8 from 2013. It's our favorite fall tradition

What is it like? We saw it today but had no clue what it would be like. We went crazy on the cheeses today. I like to buy all kinds of cheeses and make a cheese plate. Everybody likes it. Also really liked the smoked rainbow trout.

TJ's had samples of "Green Plant" juice recently. Thick and dark green, it reminded me of the underside of my lawnmower. Despite that, and the fact that I'm cheap and free is FREE, I tried some. I was expecting it to taste like rotting seaweed.
Man, was I wrong. This is some GOOD stuff. To me - it tastes like apricot nectar. It has that consistency. Surprisingly sweet and "fruity." The biggest test: the kids love it.

Has anyone tried or purchased the bottles of French Berry Lemonade yet? It is our fave but for at least last few months every time we go to our store here in NY they are sold out. They told us even the warehouse right now it temp. out. It has not been dis-continued. just large demand. Even the Jumbo frozen Shrimp has been out for at least 9 out of 10 visits for past year or so. Guess extra demand right now with super Bowl Sunday.

Love the Mac & cheese Bites! Mochi Ice Cream Mango, also choice of Green Tea, chocolate , or Vanilla. They come in little balls with sort of chewy pastry coating with powdered sugar, to die for treat! Had for 1st time today. New product Quinoa Steel cut Oatmeal is great. Come in 2 frozen cylinders that I microwave for 2 minutes. With Brown sugar and maple flavor like their Steel cut oatmeal. Frozen Steamer clams in garlic sauce , great on plate of linguine. 3 later hummus dip ( Cilantro, traditional , roasted red pepper) on their mini pitas. Caramelized Onion Dip, Arancini bites, Pastry bites with caramelized onions & Feta. Parmesan Pastry pups, & Shrimp corn dogs. Last but not least Thai Lime Shrimp skewers.

In case anyone is wondering YES this all for Super Bowl Sunday Party!!

Don't forget the Trader Jose beer! Similar but lighter than Corona. Can't get any wines or other alcoholic beverages in stores here in NY due to laws.

Happy eating.

I just tried TJ's frozen Sai Tung Green Curry & Red Gaba Rice. Has morning glory shoots, banana flowers and coconut shoots. Meatless, vegan, gluten-free and very tasty!

I just tried the Mini Chicken Tamalito's (essentially chicken tamales) - these are handmade with all natural ingredients - very good even microwaved.
