Check out NewSpring - they are non-denominational. Music there is a top notch production complete with fire explosions, good lighting and pretty good sound. And it's pretty big - I think they have over 10K members weekly amongst their locations throughout SC.
We have been attending Community Chapel/calvary chapel in Bethel Rd in Simpsonville/greenville since we moved here in June 2010. Great church, great teaching, very good congregation and there are activities for every one althought it is a small church. Would not trade this one for any other. I will highly recommended it.
Recognizing that this is an older thread, just wanted to throw in my 2 cents- I haven't been to the other CCs in the area, because I went to CC Greer first when we moved here a year ago, and found a family. I've attended CCs in CA, OR, WA, GA, and NC, and have never found a warmer, more welcoming, more loving group of folks. It's a smaller congregation, which some people are a little apprehensive about. If you're looking to do church, any ol' place will do. If you're looking for a church family, hang out at CC Greer.
