Anyone know anything about the Pendleton West Townhomes on Arlington Ave?

I went by there and the places themselves looked pretty nice but I'm really wondering about the area surrounding them. Any big concerns around there?

Anybody live there? How do you like it?

They've been there for a few years now, and I haven't heard of anything horrible happening there. The surrounding neighborhoods are in transition. There's a little bit of everything in the immediate area, but again, if residents use common sense, there shouldn't be any big issues. The townhomes are in a great location to take advantage of baseball games at Fluor Field and downtown/West End events, as well as easy access to the Pendleton St Arts District.

I live in a house that we bought cheap and are fixing up little by little three years ago. It's on the first block of Arlington going away from the High School. My family and I have had zero problems since making the move. The homes here are likely to be worth quite a bit in the coming years. In fact I have had way more problems with teenagers when I lived in more suburban areas then I have had here. Neighbors are great and we are starting to see some of the people who first moved into the area years ago having kids and walking downtown with strollers to take advantage of Main St. We were one of those families three years back and now our 5 year old is going to the brand new elementary school around the corner which is so good parents are driving their kids a half hour away just to have them attend. Go three to four blocks west or south and yes, you will get into some places that aren't great to live, but pose no danger to you or will you have a reason to go into. We love it here and [u]never[u] wanna go back to the burbs. PM me if you would like to know more.
