I just got an email saying the ATT U Verse system is now available to me here in Ft. Inn. Has anyone had any experiances with this setup? Prices quoted to me about the same as current Directv and Phone and Internet.

I like it, but unless you are going to save money by bundling Internet, phone, and TV, or are unhappy with your current setup, then it's not really worth the change. Look at the various TV packages, Internet speeds, and phone service before making a final decision. I like the fact that we can call literally anywhere for the same price.

You can sign up or ask questions at the at&t store on Fairview in Simpsonville. The manager, Joseph, and reps there are some of the best customer service you'll ever find. Their number is 962-5581.

This is a website for an at&t authorized dealer out of FL, the same deals are given in the stores and you get a live person responsible for your order getting done right.

Does anyone have u-verse that can give some feedback?

I had uverse for a year before moving. I was not happy with it. Lots of problems with the sound.AT&T said they were aware of the problems but didn't seem to have a way of fixing them. I was up to reseting the box 3+times a day.I found a better deal by having charter internet and dish tv $88.00 a month vs $143.00 a month with uverse. I'm bumping this thread to see if anyone else is using U-Verse, and what you think of the service.

I'm also curious if you can install it yourself. I've never paid for an internet installation and I don't want to start now.

Why would you wish to install it yourself? My installation was free and the service has been great.
