Per The Greenville News: http://www.greenvilleonline.com/arti...ear-Falls-Park

The owners of The Green Room are branching out. Could be a fun place if done right.

Hey- we need that kind of culinary diversity! If it's done well, I'm all for it.

Someone today commented to me, "You must know all about Cajun food, being from South Carolina." LOL!

People who aren't really intimate with both probably think Low Country and Cajun cuisines are analogous.

Ford's Oyster House & Cajun Kitchen is already open for business. It appears to be a work in progress, unless very plain decor is their goal for interior design. Work on the upstairs Falls Park Loft is still underway.

well I can't say I have eaten there yet, but I do know one of the cooks at the green room, and from what I understand they were working hard on the menu to make it as authentic as possible

I hate to say this, but I doubt this place makes it. From initial impression, these people appear to not quite realize the stiff competition they are against in downtown Greenville. I read a review and it skewered them. Heard the service was horrible. There poor little attempt at a "shingle sign" hanging over Main looks home-made. Something about this place to me screams "not enough financial backing". Hope I'm wrong and I certainly wish them well, but I have doubts.

Just wanted to know if anyone has tried this restaurant lately? We were thinking about going tonight and was hoping for a little feed back before we did.

I have not eaten there, but am not impressed by the decorations...The interior looks very sparse, and I find the huge game machine to be very tacky and I hate that you can see it from the sidewalk..
