Ridiculous, but yes. Some places sell alcohol on Sundays now, though.

Alcohol sales are allowed within the city limits of Greenville on Sundays - other areas I'm not sure.
Yes, I think it's ridiculous - especially the blue laws in this state.

Yep, not allowed in most places. Have to stock up on Saturday night or go to a restaurant where it is allowed on Sunday.

I'm from NC and so no liquor sales on sunday was not surprising but beer?!?! COME ON! I just noticed this today. Apparently beer isn't even sold on sundays at the TR walmart?!!? Absurd!

It's a very confusing patchwork system of where you can buy on Sundays and where you can't. Total Wine lets you buy beer/wine on Sundays. Whole Foods across the street does not.

I haven't found it to be a problem at all- if you want it, there are PLENTY of places to get it. Like others have mentioned, anywhere in the city of Greenville, Mauldin or Simpsonville. We can buy beer or wine on Sundays at Trader Joe's, Costco, Total Wine, any of the grocery stores in the above mentioned cities, and any of the gazillion restaurants in those cities, which includes downtown Greenville. With the way the Greenville area is laid out, most people are within 10-15 minutes of any of those places, if not much closer. I don't see what all the fuss is about?? Yes, there are a few places that don't sell it, but there are far more that do.
