I wish Krogers would build here, I despise Bilo, Publix, etc, they are all way overpriced and the food selection stinks! Unfortunately I am left with Walmart, but at least their prices and selection are better than the others.

I don't ever see Bi-Lo stooping to Walmart's level; though they try to compete with them it is very hard to get to the Walmart price based on manufacturer SRP. Sadly I don't see this adding any new jobs in Mauldin.

Wow. This is awesome. Even if it means no new jobs it shows Bi-Lo is much healthier now than they were a few years ago. Support the local economy and shop at Bi-Lo.

You haven't been to NE Florida lately. Most W/D's there have been extensively remodeled & look quite nice.

I have. I travel weekly and was in Jacksonville this past weekend in fact. Stores are average even in their home market. You may not have been deeper into central Florida where they have a huge number of ugly, old, smelly stores?

According to GSA Business, Bi-Lo's HQ could possibly move.

Notice what the statement in GSA business did "NOT" say. It said the headquarters could relocate from Mauldin. It didn't say to Jacksonville. The combined company is looking at larger corporate square footage. Check with your Greenville News source about a land deal being made in Greenville County, but not Mauldin. Corporate offices, but not distribution.

That's interesting. Bilo, as of several years ago, had operations at the business park at 85 and 385. It probably would be nice for them to consolidate into one location here, or wherever-- assuming they still have several places with their office space spread about.

Hopefully this shows Bi-Lo is healthy. They should have been after the last bankruptcy. I'm pretty sure consolidation of the Greenville offices has been a goal and likely continues to be. Does anybody know if there is store overlap with this model? I don't think there is any since W-D scaled back a few years ago.
