Memorial Day weekend in Simpsonville Heritage Park.

Come out and see the hot air balloons. Huey Lewis is the headliner this year.

Are you going?

We are going. Last year was great! Very different from the prior years in Anderson. It was very busy with lots of stuff to see and do. My husband is one of the food vendors there again this year, hoping for another great turn out like last year!

Should be even better this year, assuming the weather is great. The new additions to the large outdoor amphitheatre are nothing short of high class.

We didn't go last year for some reason or another. Mom and Dad had a balloon land in the open lot in front of their house in Mauldin...the driver got lost but lots of people were chasing him; that subdivision has never seen so much traffic as it is still under development.

It doesn't look very crowded...was it just the time the pics were taken or were there not that big of crowds?

We didn't go even though I really wanted to because everyone was telling us their were so many people and with kids it would be hard to walk around.
