i'm down from roanoke visiting my family & have officially decided - i'm greenville bound!
with that being said, i've tried to research on here & other places to find apartments in my budget ($500-$700) that accept three animals (or have been known to 'smudge' the 2 pet rule if it's two cats & a dog). anyone been in that boat? i'm still keeping an eye out for good rental houses as well. any input would be appreciated
I hated the idea of Craigslist, hearing only horror stories, but that's where we found someone willing to rent to us with three cats and a dog. We didn't tell him that right away when inquiring about the rental, but they have posted whether they will accept pets. We asked about the house, etc. and talked a bit, then mentioned the pets and he was fine with it. $200 total for all pets, non-refundable, and worth every penny. When we left the house I made sure it was spotless, better than when we moved in, so I like to think I made it a bit easier for other pet owners.
