Does anyone have a recommendation for a good contemporary-style church near Welcome in Greenville? We live close to Easley, and the churches that are within a 15 -20 minute drive are all very traditional, which is ok, but I'd rather be able to sing praises & not mumble from the hymnal, or feel awkward for not being much of a dress or skirt kind of girl! I also have 2 kids, one an Autistic almost 6 year old, so the people in the Children's ministry need to be somewhat understanding (I'd love to work in nursery, too, and am willing to have him with me, but a lot of times, people assume he's being a brat, when that's just him) an willing to call me if he's being too distracting. I really want to FINALLY make some friends here in Greenville! It's only been 3 1/2 years, so I think it's about time!

Any suggestions, please email me @ boughtbytheultimatesacrifice@gmail.com

Thanks,
Vivian

Potter's Clay Fellowship in Easley sounds like a good fit.

I go to Grace Church, and they do have a special needs ministry. You should definitely check out the Powdersville campus!

Thanks yall! I had heard of Grace Church, but, given our record of being the only people to not quite fit in, hadn't tried it yet, but I think we will this weekend

I hadn't heard of Marathon or Potter's Clay - where are they located?

It's in Grace Office Park, in the back. There are signs out on Sunday morning.
