I live in Mississippi and work at The Home Depot, where I sell appliances, and I had the good fortune to have sold appliances to two natives of South Carolina. One couple was from Clemson and the other was from Greenville. Both of the couples were in Mississippi because of their jobs, both of them want to return asap.
I asked them about crime, personal property taxes, different towns, and the quality of life. They were very positive, the couple from Clemson said that there was not as much sprawl as it was in Mississippi, and that Greenville had an eclectic blend of people. The couple from Greenville said that although there had been some increased gang activity it was no more than in Mississippi. They said that the taxes were about the same just distributed differently.
Both couples had so many positive things to say, it makes me want to leave right now. I can't wait to see what they described to me, I know that it is going to be great!
Sounds great. I think that both are very much alike. Nice states. I have never been to Mississippi, but I have been to South Carolina. I have family that lives in Anderson, SC. I have heard good things about Mississippi. I have a dear friend that was born and raised in northern Mississippi. In fact, she lives here (and has for many years), but still owns her mothers old home place in Mississippi and visits frequently.
