We're headed to the Charter Amphitheatre on Wednesday for the Mumford and Sons concert. Assuming we stay for the entire show, should we expect to be stuck in traffic on the way out? I read a review of the venue after the Black Keys show and a multi-hour wait to get out was mentioned.
My buddy, who was at the Kiss concert, said he left during the very last song and had no problems getting immediately out, for what it's worth. Things are really dicey around there, so I would definitely plan on additional time. I'm going too...
I'd definitely expect delays but hours worth? I doubt it! It was one review out of how many that attended that show? Take your time getting to your car and wait a bit to drive off.
We left The Black Keys at the end and from getting in the car and home in about 10 minutes, when any other day it would take about 8. So add about 20% to your normal transit time.
Yea, not looking forward to standing for that long ....
What do you mean standing that long? We stayed at our car and went in after the opening band was finishing. Walk to car took about a minute and rest of the time we were in our car waiting in line to get out. Traffic was moving swiftly. They seem to have it down now. Getting in took longer than getting out.

I was talking about the show itself. The wife is 5'1", and wants to get there early to get closer to the stage so she doesn't get stuck behind someone .
With two opening acts I figure it's at least a 3 hour show.

Oh gotcha. I've went to music festivals and stood literally all day so this shouldn't be an issue. Good luck. It's a pretty interesting venue.
Thankfully I sold the last of my 12 tickets on CL so no traffic for me!
I'd use the 385 ramp south of the amphitheater.
