Are there any privately owned home décor stores around Greenville or surrounding towns that are exceptionally creative, eclectic or beautiful? Like the type of place you would take visitors from out of town, because it is super pretty and fun to visit? It could be consignment, new items, a mix of antiques, whatever, just no tacky craft places with Chinese goods.

I'm not really looking for a chain store, unless it is very unique. More along the lines of a place you go once a year to find beautiful holiday decoration, or a place that an interior decorator would look to find unique pieces.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, it is called Trade Route and is one of my favorite stores in Greenville.

Also check out Architectural Warehouse in Landrum and Tryon.

We Took To The Woods is an interesting small shop.

The Arts Company is a good place to find North American handmade works for the home.

Thank you Skyliner. The Trade Route site looks awesome. I looked up We Took to the Woods and all I saw were pictures of coffee, so I thought it was a coffee shop. USA made is always a huge plus; will check the last place out for sure.
