Not 100% sure what the OP is asking. If he asking if Wendy's is pulling out of the upstate completely, I doubt it. They closed the store on Woodruff a few weeks ago for remodel, so if there were plans to close up completely I doubt they be doing any remodels.

Wendy's has been struggling some locally and has closed a few locations locally in the past few years. Namely the one at Pelham & I-85 and the one on Haywood. It wouldn't surprise me if more stores close, but I think they will always have some presence.

The Easley one was just remodeled & is open for business. It has been very busy so apparently people missed it.

Wendy's has its share of good and bad locations. The Farr's Bridge Road location is not that bad. It does need updating. The Wade Hampton Boulevard location needs an overhaul. I went there nearly seven years ago. Service, food and cleanliness were bad.

That was a good location when I dine there years ago. I look forward to trying it again.

The design of that location on the outside is pretty interesting compared to the older Wendy's design I'm used to seeing. Haven't been inside but I don't eat at Wendy's very often.

I think Wendy's has improved their food quality in the past year and I think it is one of the better fast food options. I also enjoy Culver's. And Roy Rogers, but they do not have locations in the Southeast. Hopefully the Woodruff Rd. Wendy's will reopen soon. Probably updating with the more modern design as in Easley.
