Has anyone noticed if any of the coffee shops in downtown Greenville are open today? I'm not getting any answer when I call, so I'm assuming they're not.

Thursday update ... I've seen posts on Facebook from Coffee Underground and Sully's Steamers saying they weren't opening at all today. I'm guessing this might be a sign that several businesses will remain closed.

So if you're looking for a place to get out of the house for a while, definitely call first. The good news is that Main Street into downtown seemed relatively clear (not snow free, but there were pathways cleared by other cars). The city also has several crews working on snow removal. I saw at least two plows on the drive from North Main to downtown.

Roost on Main Street, Downtown Greenville is open. Like their post on Facebook and you can receive a coupon via email for $5 lunch buffet with the purchase of a drink. I believe their lunch hours are 11:30-2pm.
