I was previewing a property in Taylors today, so stopped into Aldi's on the way home. It certainly does not have the selection of the types of products that I buy at Publix or TJ's, but I was very pleased with what I came home with: "Cheetos" snacks for my son with NO artificial coloring, unsalted peanuts for my husband, broccoli crowns at a good price, honey crisp apples for $2.99 for 2 pounds ($2.49-$2.99 for one pound at other stores), English muffins for 99 cents. Also got frozen veggie lasagna that was very good. I don't normally carry cash but had a $20 with me; did very well- the bill was $20.10. (Don't use debit cards).

Aldi only accepts cash, debit and electronic benefit transfer (EBT). It does not accept checks or credit cards.

That's good news. Do they also carry non GMO items? Thanks

Yes, they have a line of organics including rice pasta, spaghetti sauces, chicken broth and all kinds of other staple cooking ingredients.

Their European chocolate by the main door is to die for - the chocolate bar in the purple wrapper with raisins and almonds is 100% amazing.

Had to pass the store today. You would think they were giving the store away for free with how packed it is there! I can wait. Anyone who was brave enough to go today???

I have found the Aldi brands to be better most of the time than the national brands. Plus they have some unique products you don't see in other stores from time to time.

Went to the one off South Pleasantburg today- it was packed but lots of help finding products, and free cloth bags. They don't have enough variety for me to do all of my shopping there, but they had great prices on things we use such as almond milk, produce, crackers, and of course, chocolate. I managed to spend $45 and used my $5 off coupon.
