Last Sunday we wanted to grab breakfast. After stopping at 4 places, we were unsuccessful. Either the places only served lunch or they were closed. I can recommend one good place downtown, Eggs Up, but we were driving around Taylors looking for something. We are hopefully looking for something privately owned, not Denny's, Waffle House, IHOP, etc. Any place in Greer, Taylors or downtown would work. Where do you go that is good?

Eggs Up may say they are open at 6 am on Sunday and it is posted on the door that they open at 6am on Sunday and there web page says they are open at 6am on Sunday....... they aren't. Went by this morning on the way to airport and at 6:15 am they were closed.

If you feel like venturing out a little further, Coach House in Simpsonville is to die for.
We are huge fans of breakfast on the weekends, and (depending on our mood) we like Panera's at The Shops at Greenridge, Cracker Barrel, Another Broken Egg Cafe, and IHOP but those are all chains.
For privately owned restaurants you can't do any better than Tommy's Ham House. Downtown on Sundays there are some great brunches to try: Soby's, Mary's at Fall Cottage, The Roost. And I hear Green Room has a great breakfast, too.
Southern Culture does a brunch on Sunday starting at 10am. And Swamp Rabbit Cafe opens at 9 on Sundays. They aren't a real sit down, but you can't beat their egg and bacon sandwich on a croissant with a cappuccino.
What about that large southern buffet I see right in Taylors in the Publix complex? Have you checked its Sunday hours?
I've never been in there but it seems to do a good business.
