Anybody know of any machine shops in the lower to mid Greenville/Spartanburg, upper Laurens county are that may be hiring? My son is having a hard time finding a job 7 months out of tech school. Hes applied to the big places, but he either hasnt heard back, or they want umpteen years experience......Just having a degree just isnt cutting it anymore.

Yes, but Ive heard they are hiring again? Still have to go to HTI?

He went like the first of October, and the lady wouldn't even let him sign up to apply. (I called and asked about that, and was told since they had no openings he couldn't apply, which I found questionable to start with.) He was finally able to sign up online, but there isn't any openings he qualified for.

Thanks!

Yep. Hes applied there for several openings they've had since he graduated. They want experience, and he doesn't have it. Fell sorry for him, hows he suppose to get experience, when no one will hire him......

Thanks!!
