I hope this doesn't start something bad....but family and I are looking for a church (preferably Baptist but open to non-denominational or other) that does not allow it's church members to be part of "secret societies".

If the societies are "secret", how would the church know who belonged to one? I'm confused. And what kind of "secret societies" are we talking about here? Alcoholics Anonymous? 32nd Degree Masons? A gay fraternity?
