Just drove thru there today and noticed land is being cleared. There is a sign announcing a new self storage facility along with plans for a grocery store,service station,office space and other retail. Does anyone know which grocery chain and service station?

Is this near the Food Lion store or is there a another grocer nearby?
The site is farther west from Walmart Neighborhood Market #5371, 1401 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, South Carolina 29680-6304, and Food Lion #2212, 1004 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, South Carolina 29680-6215.

That sign has been there for years hasn't it? I thought BI-LO had plans there more than a decade ago in better times for them.
This is the first time I am reading of supermarket BI-LO speculated to open a store at West Georgia Road and Fork Shoals Road.
BI-LO once had signage for a future store at the southwest quadrant of Augusta Road and Grove Reserve Parkway in the Moonville community in the early 2000's. It and several other future locations were aborted.
There is a large site being graded about a quarter mile south on Fork Shoals Rd from this site across from Country Walk subdivision. There are no signs up to indicate what they are working on. Tax map #0585010101102 owned by Woodcroft Associates.
Its land use is indicated as 1180 - residential vacant. My assumption would be a residential development on a 96.83-acre site.
