I have a question, in case anyone here has experience with this. A couple years ago, we moved from Simpsonville to Piedmont. Registration, Taxes, Insurance, etc were all updated with our new address. I just pulled out our vehicle titles and realized that the old address is still on those. If I were to sell one of those vehicles, do I have to have an updated title to sign it over properly?
I'm agreeing with UpstateJohn. Updating the address on your DL is required by law. As long as you properly sign the title, there shouldn't be any problems with a buyer registering it.
