A possible entertainment facility with bowling,arcade,and birthday parties could be coming to Congaree and Griffith roads in Greenville. The proposed developer is from Vermont. I researched into this and found Sparetime Entertainment.
There's a Spare Time billboard on Congaree near Roper Mountain where some heavy construction is going on. Wonder if that's the location? The size definitely looks like it'd be a good fit.
Other bowling venues closed? Greenville Bowl on Cedar Lane was the last bowling center in the Greenville area to close and that was at least 15 years ago. Golden Lanes in Simpsonville is the " newest" center and they opened in 1983.
