That one is very unique then because they are mainly in urban areas with a lot of pedestrian traffic. Greenville's downtown is the perfect set up for a food hall. Itd be a shame to put one in a place like Mauldin or Woodruff Road or whatever.

I know Greenville doesnt want to be Atlanta 2.0, but this is one instance where'd thatd actually be a very smart move, and itd compliment the Swamp trail and Greenville's growing foodie scene.

I think it would the best option on Woodruff to shop now especially with sort of a back gate now to get in and out with the Salters Rd bridge and road reopened. I took that route the other day to go to Whole Foods and get into Greenridge and didn't have to get on Woodruff at all only to cross it. That old industrial site has to be really appealing to retailers with all the apartments already there and all the new hotels going up.
I think that site behind the Point is at least as likely to have hotels, apartments or office buildings than a new shopping center.
