You should move to Mount Airy NC. It’s the real home of Andy Griffith and the town is what Mayberry is 100% based on. https://www.mountairy.org/

I live far north Greenville county outside of TR close to Saluda NC and I think like me, you would love it. Everywhere I drive around here is like traveling through a post card or a countryside calendar. I am also only twenty minutes away from TR that is not a city like Greenville but has every convenience you would need. Adversely, if you did decide there was an event you wanted to attend Greenville itself is about forty minutes away, or Asheville about the same distance in the opposite direction. I immensely enjoy the country lifestyle and being able to experience the beauty here.

You may want to look a little further South to get the warmer winter weather you're looking for.

This week is definitely not representative of "normal" for the region. Every couple of years we get one of these Arctic blasts which are usually short lived. But even with the (really) cold nights this week, most days still are forecast to go above freezing at least in Upstate South Carolina.

The coast is even milder (at the cost of muggy summers), yet there is ice/sleet/snow forecast for Charleston tomorrow!

Well. When I hear Mayberry. I think of a small town that is very vanilla with no growth.

I'd say that it could match the OP's list of items, certainly one would need to see it to decide for themselves if it appeals to their interests.
