This is awful but I will do all I can to get food from local businesses throughout the area until this is over with along with leaving a great tip. I urge every forum member on here to do the same.

If you can, also donate here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/those-aff...cp+share-sheet

I’ve also hear the suggestion to go get a gift certificate from restaurants, this will help give them cash flow until this is over. Then in a couple months, you can use the card.

Also, if you get carry out, please leave a tip . . . Hopefully, a bit larger than usual.

I don’t want to donate I think that all these rich people (some even my best friends)who have never seen their own kitchens need to get real
Fix your own hamburger and stop bringing people from Mexico to do it for you

Has there been any restriction on restaurants staying open in South Carolina or does it remain voluntary?

Here in North Carolina, our Governor has issued an Executive Order than all restaurant dining areas need to close by 5 PM today and only have drive through or carry out service. I'm curious to know what neighboring states are doing.

SC just made it mandatory starting Wednesday. Carryout/delivery allowed.

This is about helping restaurants etc stay afloat to reopen. It’s about helping their employees (wait staff, cook staff, managers) pay their rents, car payments, day care. It’s what we do in the South . . . Help each other in hard times.

If those of us who can afford it got a carry-out order every third day, maybe the restaurants could stay afloat.
