I'm Christine. I live in Ocean co. NJ (Jackson twp) I had recently posted about possible relocation as well. If my husband is able to get the job he is looking for. We have become very unhappy in NJ for the same reasons you have mentioned! It seems like there are many folks from NJ/NY and all over in this area and super helpful too! We plan to visit (hopefully) if all goes well also. We are looking for the same type area, A little space in between homes but not totally rural too. Seems like there are many options here, Even in the way of new construction. Something we wouldn't be able to consider here.
